At some point in your life, you need to sit down and ask yourself what it’s going to take to achieve your personal view of success in your life. I’ve often asked myself this question. What is it going to take to achieve what I want out of this life? And not just a little, not a little bit. Not settling for mediocrity, trying desperately to convince myself that what I have is enough when deep down I know it isn’t. You know, like those people who convince themselves at the end of their life that money is not important to them; that they are happy just scraping by and clipping coupons. If you’re poor, I guess it’s easier to accept mediocrity and defeat than it is to personally take responsibility for where you are in life. To be honest with yourself and ask “what mistakes have I made to get here and what decisions can I make to get out?” That is one of the most powerful statements somebody can make to themselves.
No, choose today to want great things, only the best. Choose today to go after excellence in every form of the word. If somebody has achieved it, I know that I can do it as well. Although, I can honestly say I don’t want an inheritance. You can’t achieve an inheritance. How will you ever unlock the code to your creative genius if wealth is given to you? When I was 19, married and had a newborn daughter, I did whatever it took to make it happen because there was no back up plan. I was not ever going to be given wealth. I never let go of my dreams and I worked hard towards a successful end in everything I did. Some people dream of success, others wake up every day and work hard at it. Choose today to be one of those people. Day after day, month after month, year after year. While others grow weary and while their weak minds give up because success didn’t come after an entire week of hard work, decide to be the best because that is who you are, not for any other reason. Not for a particular job, not for a particular boss, not because you happen to feel good that week. But for every job, every boss, every week regardless of how you feel because that is who YOU are and the issue is settled.
I know now that there is nothing, absolutely nothing stopping me from acquiring all of the great things of this world. Happiness, great health, joy, a loving family, financial freedom, time to take long vacations and the health to enjoy them, a personal chef, vacation homes, new cars, a house on the ocean, trips to Fiji, owning my own island, the list goes on.

I have learned that it takes an undying burning desire that is so strong, you are willing to do absolutely anything to see it to its successful end. Within the bounds of what is moral and legal of course. If you don’t feel a burning desire to do what you are currently doing, then you need to stop doing it. You need to do whatever it takes to find out what makes you tick, what you are absolutely passionate about, what drives you to wake up early in the morning and continue doing it late into the evening and then do that better than anyone else. The reason most people in the United States are not successful is because they have not found their passion. I can honestly say that I love to come to work and I hate to leave. I love doing what I do. I don’t do it for money, I don’t do it for a paycheck, I don’t do it for any other reason other than the fact that I am absolutely ecstatic about getting to go to work everyday. I love it. Building businesses makes me tick and I am so passionate about it that I literally can work 20 and 30 hours at a stretch without a break. I don’t want to quit, I don’t want to sleep, I don’t want to take breaks, I don’t want to be interrupted by somebody who wants to talk about the weather, I don’t want to run errands, I don’t want to stop to take personal phone calls because I love what I do. Until you are able to find that passion, your life will only ever be mediocre. Decide today; decide now, to be great and to be determined to find your purpose!
Personally, my desire for success is at the very core of who I am and what I represent as a human being. It encompasses my entire life, my thoughts, my dreams, my plans, my goals, my words. Everything that I am, everything that I represent, everything that I mean to this world that contains me is centered on my dream to have success in my life. It cannot be taken away from me. To take away my passion to achieve would take away the very essence of my existence. It cannot be done. I can not change because it is at the very center of who I am. Nothing can stop your drive when you believe this way. No obstacle, no fear, no set back, no mountain, no valley. There is NO THING that can stop you when you believe, when you have a burning desire that is so strong, nothing can stop you. I love this quote by Napoleon Hill. He says “When your desires are strong enough, you will appear to possess superhuman powers to achieve”
I know without a shadow of doubt that I can have all things that I desire because I have learned from experience that this life is set up to win! The universe is rigged in your favor. For those who do not accept defeat, for those that do not accept no for an answer, for those that understand that the road to achievement is an obstacle course that is in place to separate the strong from the weak. The strong at heart, the strong at emotion, the strong at will. There is a very clear and structured system that exists in this life that gives to those who have a burning desire to achieve their goals. The road is not easy, it was designed that way. Financial freedom from poverty doesn’t come with a single day’s hard work; it doesn’t come from a week’s hard work or even a year’s hard work sometimes. Robert Kiyosaki says that “The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way.”
It does not come because you wish for it, it does not come because of your needs, and it doesn’t even come if you pray for it. The universe is not moved by our needs.
Financial freedom is not partial to your needs. This system that I refer to is not moved by your lack. It is moved by your desire. It is moved by your willingness to stay the course, to overcome the obstacles, to hang in there when you want to quit, to stick it out until the end, to never give up! That is it! That is key! That is the secret! There are no magic formulas to success. Are you willing to prevail? Ask yourself that question. Ask yourself if you are willing to prevail in the midst of defeat, in the midst of fire, in the midst of despair, in the midst of trials and tribulations. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to see your desire through to a successful end? If you can honestly answer yes then you are well on your way to victory.
Your vision is set in place and the energy that will see it through is already working on your behalf. Even while you sleep your brain is operating in your favor, your subconscious mind acting in your best interests, formulating plans and working on the details of your success for you. When you refuse to give up and decide to fuel your desire, your subconscious mind has immediately gone to work for you. You now realize that an answer is the only option. No defeat can stop you. No stop sign is big enough to slow you down. An answer is there and you will find it.
When you give up, your brain goes to sleep, it has nothing to do. Since our subconscious minds do not know the difference between success and failure, it will work on either one. It is up to you to decide which road you want to take, which path you will lead your mind down. That of success or that of failure. It makes no difference and it will work just as hard on either.

Only then can you make your mark and set the stage for your life that will lead you to financial freedom, a successful marriage, a happy family, a healthy body, to be your own boss, to pay off your home, to live near the ocean, whatever it is that motivates you to greater things. 98% of people in this world will never get this concept.
